Volunteers are the backbone of the
Make-A-Wish Foundation. Only through the hard work
and commitment of over 200 South Carolina volunteers
can we continue to grant the wishes of our children.
Whatever your skills or interests, we can put your
dedication to work.
Volunteer opportunities include:

• Fund raising
• Marketing, public relations, and advertising
• Special events
Start here to commence your volunteer
experience. Print out the Volunteer Application and Conflict
of Interest/Ethics statement. Read and fill out both
forms. Please note that certain volunteer positions require
us to complete a criminal background check every three
years. In order to cover the cost of that check, training
materials and a volunteer badge there is a $25 non-refundable
application fee payable to Make-A-Wish Foundation of
South Carolina. Send your forms and check to the address
provided on the application. The volunteer coordinator
will email or call you to confirm that your application
has been received and your information will be forwarded
to the Volunteer Team Leader for your area who will then
contact you to welcome you into our organization.
